The VIP Beauty Power Meetups culminated with a special evening, where friends of The Word. came together to celebrate Schwarzkopf’s Simply Colour range. The Grammar Room, the beautiful glass-house venue for the evening, was converted into a green oasis highlighting all the glorious aspects of the formulation.
The Schwarzkopf Simply Colour range has many qualities but the one thing that truly stands out is that the formula boasts 0% ammonia and silicone. It is a PPD- and PTD-free permanent hair colour that offers vibrant colour with a gorgeous shine, sans compromise. Hence, it’s ‘simply colour’, which has truly ‘Nothing to Hide’. And that was the theme for the evening as well.
The Word. team curated some key elements keeping in mind the USP of the range. For instance, a magnifying glass was placed on top of The Word. Power Word of the Day—which, for this, session, was ‘Nothing to Hide’. The guests were seen taking fun photographs with this Instagrammable element.
The tablescape included gigantic vases dressed in dreamy white and green flowers, surrounded by smaller, sculptural vases with a blooming, floral mane—indicating how using the Simply Colour range will leave your hair hydrated and happy. But how can a hair colour claim so, you ask? Well, the post-colour care, part of the Simply Colour box, is enriched with argan oil, oat milk, and soy protein that leave your hair feeling nourished and beautiful. These three hero ingredients were also on display at The Word. Touch-and-Feel station during dinner and the brand experts were present to guide the guests about the benefits of the formula.
As the guests sat down for the three-course meal—with a ‘surprise course’—Nandini Bhalla, Editor-In-Chief of The Word. Magazine addressed the guests and invited Shama Dalal, Head of Marketing, Henkel Consumer Brands, to share the key USPs of this ground-breaking formula. Right before the main course was served, the guests were presented with a personalised chocolate sampler box with flavours inspired by the eight shades available in the Simply Colour range…which was the pièce de résistance, along with the chocolate tart with the Schwarzkopf logo.
