Authentic connection was the real headliner in New Delhi, recently, when The Word. Magazine and Bumble brought together a closed-door gathering of creators, designers, artists, and friends at the underground Method Art Gallery. With the intention of sparking fresh, authentic connections, this special evening unfolded like a series of intimate encounters through shared curiosities, shared senses, and shared stories.

Surrounded by Jaipur-based artist Wolf’s exhibition Gul, which used the language of flowers to explore love at first sight, guests drifted through the space, striking up conversations as naturally as they sampled scents.

At the NASO Profumi perfume bar, they explored 32 notes—pepper wood, oud mud, saffron musk, tobacco leaf, pink pepper—discovering fragrance profiles that unlocked memories and became instant conversation starters. Everyone left with a Bumble × The Word. perfume as a small, sentimental takeaway.
