Ranbir Kapoor’s New Perfume, ARKS Day, Reminds Him of His Childhood

Ranbir Kapoor, actor and Founder of ARKS, has launched his first-ever perfume, ARKS Day.

What would you imagine Ranbir Kapoor’s childhood smelt like? For his first-ever perfume launch, the actor and founder of ARKS—a premium lifestyle brand that was launched in February 2025—Ranbir tapped into his early memories to create a very special, unisex fragrance.

ARKS Day, which is Ranbir’s new EDP, channels the spirit of quiet confidence and understated elegance…a refined ease that truly stands for ‘cool’. And to capture this essence, the fragrance is fresh and citrusy, with woody undertones.

Describing ARKS Day, actor and Founder of the brand Ranbir Kapoor shares, “ARKS Day brings back a lot of memories from my childhood—the places I felt drawn to, the people who made me feel at home. We wanted to capture that essence in this first bottle. It’s familiar, grounding, and made for those who carry their world with quiet strength.”

The perfume opens with top notes of zesty mandarin and petitgrain (an essential oil extracted from the leaves and twigs from a bitter orange tree), wrapping you into a burst of refreshment and energy. The heart of the scent is enveloped in warm ginger and jasmine notes that evoke a sense of balance and calmness. Finally, the base notes are rounded off with musk and vetiver, creating a complex aromatic scent that is earthy yet rejuvenating.

And for those who enjoy their fragrance throughout the day, this one has been crafted with 18% Perfume Concentration (EDP)…that means its premium strength will stay with you for hours with its extended projection. 

The launch of ARKS Day also saw a special campaign film with brand ambassadors, or ‘ARKS Insiders’, echoing what it stands for. The campaign is frontlined by Ranbir Kapoor, and alongside are entrepreneur Varun Duggirala, actors Sahiba Bali and Barkha Singh, music artist and actor Moses Koul, yoga and wellness expert Anushka Parwani, stylist and content creator Sukhmani Gambhir, and artist Rob.
