Don’t Be Late to Meet Katrina Kaif…

Katrina Kaif
The Word.: Tell us, does it annoy you when people are not on time?
Katrina Kaif: “I believe in being punctual because it’s a way of showing respect for other people’s time. Of course, sometimes there are last-minute, unavoidable delays, but I try my best to be on time. When people are habitually late, it can be a bit frustrating, especially when you’re working on tight schedules. But I try to be patient and understanding.”
TW.: What kind of timepieces resonate with your personal style?
KK: “I like timepieces that are classic yet have a modern edge. A watch that I can wear with anything—whether I’m dressed up or dressed down—is perfect for me. I appreciate clean lines, subtle designs, and a watch that feels timeless but also unique.”
TW.: Rado has just launched the Centrix Open Heart Super Jubilé watch. What do you find striking about this timepiece?
KK: “The Centrix Open Heart Super Jubilé is such a stunning timepiece. I love how it combines elegance with precision. The open-heart design lets you see the intricacies of the movement, which is fascinating—it’s like wearing a piece of art on your wrist. It’s the perfect balance of sophistication and craftsmanship, making it a truly timeless watch.”

TW.: What do you love most about the festive season?
KK: “The festive season is all about celebrating with family, sharing love, and creating beautiful memories. There’s a certain warmth in the air, with everyone coming together. I also love how this time of year gives us a chance to reflect on the past while looking forward to new beginnings.
For me, it’s a special time to express gratitude and joy with my loved ones.
TW: What’s a secret skill or talent that Katrina has?
KK: “I love cooking! Not many people know this, but I find cooking very therapeutic. It’s a great way for me to unwind after a busy day, and it also lets me get creative with different ingredients and flavours. There’s something very satisfying about preparing a meal and sharing it with loved ones.”
TW.: What makes you ridiculously happy—and annoyed?
KK: “What makes me ridiculously happy is spending time with my family and close friends. Those little moments of laughter, joy, and connection mean the world to me.
On the flip side, I get quite annoyed by unnecessary negativity or drama. I believe in staying positive and not letting small things disrupt your peace.”

TW.: You and Vicky both lead busy lives. How do you strike a balance between work and personal life?
KK: “It can be challenging at times, but we always make it a point to prioritise our time together, no matter how busy things get. We respect each other’s work, but we also understand the importance of switching off and being fully present when we’re at home. Communication and setting boundaries are key.”
TW.: What’s your favourite thing about yourself?
KK: “I think my ability to stay grounded is something I really value. No matter what’s happening in my life or career, I try to remain true to myself and my values. Staying connected to who I am and what I believe in has helped me navigate both my personal and professional journey with a sense of clarity and purpose.”
TW.: Lastly, what’s the biggest lesson time has taught you?
KK: “Time has taught me that it’s important to be present in every moment. We often get caught up in the rush of life, but when you slow down, you realise that the little moments—the ones we sometimes overlook—are the ones that matter most. I’ve learned to cherish those moments and to focus on what truly brings me happiness and peace.”
