At The Third Edition Of Lollapalooza India, The Keep Walking Stage Celebrated Creativity
- ByTeam The Word.

The much-awaited third edition of the Lollapalooza festival in Mumbai was welcomed by music lovers with an incredible line-up of artists from India and overseas, including Hanumankind, Lisa Mishra, Raftaar, Kr$na, and the iconic rock band Green Day, among others.
But that’s not all—the creatively-inclined had reason to rejoice, too. For festival-goers got to experience immersive installations, interactive digital extensions, and exclusive brand engagements at the Keep Walking Stage by Johnnie Walker Refreshing Mixer… An annual arena where music, movement, and storytelling converge to engage the senses in fresh perspectives on design and festival experiences.
Music and artful collaborations are what festival dreams are made of. Not to mention the great photo-ops.

The stage was a hub of energy with diverse genres and groundbreaking sounds. But along with that, the dynamic digital artwork by The Big Fat Minimalist (Aniruddh Mehta) X Studio Ocupus caught the attention of visitors. Embodying the spirit of Keep Walking, the façade of the set-up was an ode to abstract art in swirls of blue and orange, bringing to life the power of imagination and fluidity of movement.
On another side of the exterior, a 3D illusion of printed panels presented a sense of movement—look at it from the left, and you could put together a black-and-white, printed artwork. But move along, and the panels begin to change into an ombré accent of shades of blue, purple, and orange.

Inside the space, guests stamped the wall with the words ‘Keep Walking’—an affirmation to push boundaries, conquer dreams, and live one’s best life.
Speaking about this special collaboration, The Big Fat Minimalist (Aniruddh Mehta) said, “When Johnnie Walker and Keep Walking approached us to do this creative collaboration, we tried to see how we can take straight lines and geometry to create more natural bends and harmonious textures. We created a blend of our work with the world of Johnnie Walker Refreshing Mixers.”
Adding to this, Yash of Studio Ocupus said, “The idea was to blend the world of liquid, flow, form, and structure and find a balance between them. We wanted get people to walk into the room and move around. So we brought in sensors, and created an interactive space… We wanted to break dimensions where they didn’t know what direction the space was in. Playing with these kind of ideas was a core concept to building this piece.”

In fact, the element of surprise was a major draw for those who visited the space. As Aniruddh explained, “The user interaction on the floor worked out really well with the idea of ‘Keep Walking’ because as you walked through the space, you could see the visuals interacting with you.”
“Guests were a part of the space; they weren’t passively watching it,” Yash added. “They were immersed in it and influenced what happened in the space.”

Speaking about this special collaboration, Ruchira Jaitly, Chief Marketing Officer, Diageo India shared, “We were thrilled to be a part of Lollapalooza India once again, bringing our ‘Keep Walking’ philosophy to a community that thrives on music, creativity, and bold expression. The Keep Walking Stage was a true reflection of the festival’s energy—constantly growing, changing, and inspiring.”

Ruchira also revealed that this was just the beginning of how Johnnie Walker will continue to redefine brand experiences and meaningful engagement. “Our collaboration with Big Fat Minimalist and Ocupus seamlessly extended this vision, shaping an immersive space that invited festival goers to not just witness but truly experience the spirit of progress—through art, design, and shared moments of inspiration.”
